cool concept.

dunno how keen i would be on it for a self defense situation though... the actuation speeds are way to slow for my tastes. i have one of those RFID open "hide a shelf" units in my home for quick access option.

Firearm Discussion Thread

Postby SilveradoZ-71 » Feb 09 2020, 5:37am

Got a new AR in a new caliber earlier this week. 350 Legend side charging. Worked the gunshop today and picked up a sightmark AR series 3x12x32 scope for it. Also managed to buy another pistol, it’s a Walther PPQ Q4 Tac Pro Talo version. Going to try them both out tomorrow!Image

I've been wanting a legend. I think I want an 18 or 20" though.

It's a concept I've been eyeballing for a couple years in the form of the .357 max rimless-ar.

I'd also like a pistol upper with a 9" barrel. I think with a bullet similar to the xpb or a Lehigh defense extreme defense it would be absolutely devastating as a self defense load.

Finally brake down and got a threaded barrel for my gen5 g17. Also swapped out the trigger. Barrel and trigger are both Zev. Now I nee to swap the sights for some suppressor height.

Supposedly they are coming out with a roller lock version in the near future.

I'd hold off for that one. Or get an MP5. I absolutely love mine. Technically it's not a true mp5, but other than markings, it is built as nice, if not nicer, than a real hk built gun. I have a ptr 9ct.

Shoots great and suppresses really nicely. Also love my sig mpx. It also shoots really well suppressed.
