Firearm Discussion Thread

Hadn't seen a decent firearm thread on here. Just want to put something together for discussing your favorite boom sticks.

I just recently picked up a new XD Mod.2 pistol during SA's gear up promotion. Still waiting on my free mags and holster to come in!! Love this gun, dead accurate too!

I like how it has "grip zone" clearly noted for you...but what about the "bullet exit" note?? haha

I love my XDs. With a grip zone. But it's not properly stated like yours... some times I'm confused as to which zone to grip

Heres a couple of my boom sticks. My long range AR MP-15 with Nikon scope, another AR I recently finished building using an Anderson lower for close quarters shooting/hunting (mostly coyote exterminating) wifes Taurus 24/7 .40, Savage Axis 2 XP in .308 for deer season, Taurus 24/7 G2 .45 one of my few strategically placed around the house/garage handguns. And a new addition last year even though its not actually a boomstick, Barnett raptor FX2 crossbow, took a dressed 126lb doe on opening day last year with it from 40 yards, will never go back to a compound bow again. Well thats all I'm willing to show from behind mystery door #1. Lets keep it going.......ImageImageImageImageImageImage

I am a fan of the xd line as well. I have an xds that is one of my daily carry pieces.

My 2 most recent favorites are these (kimber grand raptor and glock 34) Image

I also got into longer range shooting. Here's my savage model 10 fcp topped with a vortex diamondback 4-16x42. It will pull off some good groups. ImageImage

Believe it or not, I work at Springfield on 2nd shift. Everybody makes fun of grip zone. Someone wrote grip zone on the refrigerator handle to make sure you know where to open it.

My favorite toy to bring to the range is my Sig 716 AR10 with Leupold glass. 7.62 always turns a few heads when everyone else is shooting AR15s. Also have a Sig 1911, XDs .45, Glock 17 and a Taurus .38.
