1999 Silverado, 4.6L base model 2 WD, 1500 - getting service engine soon light. Autozone scanner tells me O2 sensor is bad and it's Bank 1 Sensor 2. I did replace it, I drove the truck for about 30 minutes but the service engine soon light is still on. Am I correct in that this is the sensor on the drivers side, just past the catalytic converter? Do I need to drive the vehicle much longer than 30 minutes for the message to clear? I was expecting the computer to clear it by now, unless I actually have another problem. Any help would be appreciated.
