A guy I know is selling controls for an 02 Tahoe that have the "auto functions." would those fit/work in my 01 Silverado?

if the silverado has the same functionality, then yes it'll work. But if it doesn't, it'll require the purchase of everything needed, not to mention trying to hook all that junk up. Not something i'd want to tackle just to get me the auto function.

I think you'd need the sensor too for the cabin air temp, but I could be wrong.

And a lot more. The auto system has controls to auto move the ducting valving and a system to maintain the set temperature. Things that your fingers do in the manual system.

Will not work, the whole system is different. Sell the truck and buy one with auto climate control would be easier. :lol:
