I went with a Melling when mine went out. I do like OEM when I can get it and the price is very comparable to aftermarket. I had mine fail all of a sudden and had to have the part that day. Was going to be much cheaper to grab on from my local parts store vs the dealer. Prices look very comparable buying online though.

Doing quick research at the time...it seemed recommended for a high mileage engine to go with the high volume pump (not high pressure). The parts store did not have any in stock, so I had to get the standard volume pump. I did not replace the timing chain or tensioners.

I would say it is pretty straight forward and between watching a couple videos and having a service manual...you should be good.

I see you have a 2wd which will make things a little easier. The best thing to do is to drop the oil pan when doing this. I tried to crack mine open to get the pickup tube bolt out. Was still a huge pain removing and re-installing and then ended up having the oil pan leaking. I recommend a new gasket and be sure to use RTV in the four corners as recommended for good seal. I think all you will need to do is drop the cross member and probably lower the steering rack to do so. I just removed the steering rack bolts and let it go down as far as it would and then was able to pull the pan.
