Hey all! I've got an 08 1500 Z71 and I was trying to price gears fir her. I currently have the 3.73 from the factory and I'm looking to go to a 4.56 in the future. I've looked all over online and have been having a bell of a time finding gear sets. I can find 4.56 gears for a 12 bolt, but can't find any front differential gears. I'm also working under the assumption that any old 12 bolt 4.56 gears will fit without issue.

Have you tried Randy's Ring and Pinion? They have online tools that should narrow it down to exactly what you need.

first off you don't have a 12 bolt so toss all your research out the window and start again with a 10 bolt.

I thought that was the case, but summit started pulling up 12 bolt gears when I input 08 Silverado 1500. Thanks for the correction.
