Weird problem. Had truck on jackstands checking 4wd. Noticed when truck is either in two or 4wd and is in neutral the rear driveshaft is spinning and passenger wheel is spinning but not drivers side. I can grab the tire and it will stop but as soon as I let go of it it starts spinning again. Shouldn't the driveshaft not be spinning

It's normal. There s enough friction in neutral with in the plates to spin it. Once any resistance is met, it stops easily as you have explained.

Not sure I have ever owned a vehicle that would not do the same. Very normal.

I've experienced this on a few different makes/models be they auto or stick. Don't pay it any mind.
