Hello, im new to this forum as well as being new to modding vehicles. I have an '01 chevy 1500 that im planning on using as my work truck as i try starting my business with a friend of mine. So im currently trying to do alot of things to the truck. One of them being, modding the exhaust. How can i get the most growl out of my 5.3l? My friend tells me just to chop the exhaust a few inches from the cat and just aim it down but i dont know. Any opinions or suggestions? Thanks!

You can either buy at Cat-back or just a performance muffler if money is tight. Starting up a business will probably take time and effort, you may not have both for starting down the mod road, so go slow and spend your money wisely.
