One of my switch/sliders for dual climate control has broken off from the inside. It was like this when i purchased the truck. I can use the detached switch to reach inside and adjust the controls from hot to cold. I usually slide it to cold when summer is coming and then back up to hot when winter is on its way and then keep the detached switch in my glove compartment. I was wondering if anyone has had this issue before or if anyone has any ideas on how i could re attach the switch. Or would it be worth replacing the whole unit?
Thanks in advance for any advice or ideas
Jeff

I got a replacement from a junkyard, they're cheap and don't really get used much so the controls don't wear out.

I think Dorman sells those units, too.
