I have a 2004 LB7 with 135,000 miles and it started blowing blue smoke that smells like oil after a short warmup. Any ideas?

You are burning oil. There can be several causes for this, but you might want to keep an eye on your oil level.

Does it smoke during startup then go away or does smoke all the time ?

I was down about a quart of oil after towing a camper out west from Wisconsin in July. About the beginning of October it started smoking after warming up and it's noticeable during idle. I'm using Rotella 5w-40 synthetic oil.

I would check the turbo. to make sure the seals arn't going out. Look at the intake and see if there is a lot of oil coming from the PCV. Then I would be pulling glow plugs an looking at the cylinders with a scope.

I brought my truck to a Chevy dealer and they said injectors. They want $6600. I found a another diesel mechanic that will do it for $4000.

If you are going to do it. I can only stress the importance of buying Bosch only remans or new. I have gone through other ones with nothing but problems. Spend the money and do it right.

Did you check the turbo? I worked on a Saab that burned oil and no one could find anything wrong with it until we checked/wiggled the turbine shaft and it was snapped obviously that's worst case scenario if it's the turbo leaking. Didn't make any weird noises. Would have idled all day if we let it. Also I don't know how common the DMax's were to get holes in pistons like the previous 6.5TD.. I would check with a bore-scope as previously mentioned

The dealership also checked the turbo when I brought it in and it was good.
