I have a 2011 Chevy 1500 with a 4.8L V8 2wd. Would I be able to do a manual tranny swap from an earlier model with a 4.8 in it? I know it would cost a lot and is probably not worth it but I just want to know if its possible.

Anything is possible with the right amount of cash... Also I've heard 07+ GM trucks in Mexico had a manual option, if you could find those parts it would be a lot easier...
