Who’s had problems changing ball joints on a 2014 Chevy Silverado? ball joint won’t seat in spindle. Got cast iron LCA. It’s too cold for this lol tried the Moog and same thing I used k500245. There’s still ab an inch on the stud exposed on knuckle. Someone point me the right way.

Check RockAuto for part numbers that will fit. They show in the descriptions if it is for an aluminum or cast iron control arm. I really like the Mevotech TTX stuff when available.

The thing that confuses me is that those are splines on the part that presses into the knuckle itself. The one I took off was smooth and had to use a punch to get the lip up to press it out. Will that fit on my truck? I’m seriously confused on this. I got that part ordered from my oreillys and it’ll be here tomorrow. So if I have both cast iron LCA and knuckle that’ll work?
