Is there anyway to default them as on, instead of off? Every time the headlights come on I have to push the button to have them on.

My Colorado was a button as well, but it stayed pushed in. Thus having them on whenever the lights came on.

Yes. You just have to move the diode around. I have mine set to stay on with the high beams. http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/1 ... igh-beams/

Seems the OEM setup makes the most sense. It would be hard to believe many folks live where they have fog all the time. As fogs should only be on when there is fog and only with the low beams, the OEM system seems the most convenient for the operator.

And truth be told, they are not fog lights. True fog lights are yellow. These are additional driving lights. I have modified all of them on my pickup and Caddy with yellow film to actually get something close to true fog lights. Makes a whale of a difference in bad weather or fog when it comes to cutting thru and seeing road lines.
