I know on chevy's website the 16 silverado 1500 doesnt come with 17" rims, but will they fit? Specifically from a 2013 Silverado?

I have a 2017 Silverado and it has 17 inch wheels. 17 inch wheels are standard on the WT, LS and LT. Was the same in 2016.

The "fit" is not a matter of the wheel size, but the lug spacing and the hub size. All of the available wheels (17, 18, 20 and 22) will fit with the appropriate tire size to keep the overall diameter the same.

Actually "fit" is a matter of the wheel size also. Certain diameter wheels will not fit over the larger brakes of the newer trucks. But yes op 17s will fit your truck

Which versions of the 2016/2017 Silverado 1500 use different sized brakes than the base WT with std 17 inch wheels?

None they use the same. It was a generalized statement about wheel figment.
