Picked up a clean Duramax 2019 HD 2500 , with 265/60 20 tires. Looking to drive 75% highway not towing and 25% highway towing. Enjoyed KO2 E-load range on 2011 1500 with minimum discomfort{noise} Thanks Trumpster 1 for your comprehensive review on tires. Still on the fence !

Skip the bfgs. I am not at all impressed with them. Their only redeeming quality is they are good in the snow. Everywhere else they are meh. They absolutely suck on dry pavement.

Look into the toyo open country AT3s. I absolutely love them. Way better traction on the dry pavement, and do good everywhere else. I wanted to try them in the snow but they are on my nice wheels so they come off in the winter.

Although it was an F250 my FIL had right at 65k on these toyo AT2 tires load range E in size 295/70r18. If the AT3s hold up as good then there is at least one example where they will not wear out so quickly, hopefully.

Also I have gotten great mileage out of the cooper AT3s and Falken AT3W on my 1/2 ton.

I've owned numerous sets of BFG A/Ts, and always liked them, until I had a set on my 2016 2500. They felt a little squishy, and were noisier than on other trucks. They were E rated and at the proper pressure. I don't think they are good on a heavy truck.

I'll be looking at other brands for my current 2500.

Just put a complete set of Michelin Defender LTX M/S on my '12 2500. Very smooth and quiet tires.
They are an "E" 10 ply. I do 75% highway towing a 6K+ trailer, 25% normal around town driving and a little off road.
Had a set of LTX-2's on my previous PU and really liked them. Put a little over 20K on them before I sold the truck and the tires still looked and felt fantastic!
