Recently had the local Chevy dealership run my 2020 Silverado 6.2 VIN to see if it had the DFM option and they told me it did not. I was glad to hear it didn’t have DFM per the issues I’ve heard they can have.
My question is why is it a factory option, was it state/location driven or per owner/dealership order/orders per previous warrant issues with DFM?
I’m closing in on 50k miles without any issues.
