I need to replace my intermediate steering shaft on my 2001 2500HD. Dorman shows a separate shaft for the 2500HDs with the RPO code HVY (which I have) but most every site and part search I come up with only shows one shaft for all 2500s. The HVY RPO is a 2" body lift. Will any shaft work or do I need the longer Dorman one? GM PN should be 25958108 but again, I cannot tell if this will work on a HVY.
