Hey all, I recently bought a 08 Silverado last month and I'm slowly getting everything serviced (when I find time), I pulled one of the spark plugs and it was worn so it's time for a tune up. The plug I pulled was a 41-985 and that's what I want to go back with. I had a 04 Silverado with a 5.3 and I put the 41-110's in it and as soon as I installed them the mpg dropped. I researched it and it seems lots of people had the same prob I did with the 110's. I know the 41-985's are discontinued but I'm wondering if anyone knows a place that still has any. Thanks!

It's literally the same plug. Did you check the gap? Perhaps it was off a bit. You need to be careful though be cause they are fairly easy to break the top off of.

Yes all spec'd out at .40. I was told that's where they should be.

Yeah .045" is the spec I believe.

.40" would be a HUGE gap haha.

If you want to pay more than double for the same plug as a 41-110 then here's some that say in Stock that I got from a quick Google search.
