This is for a 2005 4L60e which is AWD. I found it in this condition and I wonder if it was setup properly. My transfer case has a breather nipple on top, there was a hose connected to it and it led to a Y connector at the top of the transmission. The Y connector had a smaller hose that connected to the nipple atop the tranny. The other end of the Y connector led to the engine bay where the hose was plugged with a plastic plug. Is this normal? Should the Trans and Transfer case be on the same breather hose? And should the hose that connects the two be plugged or open? Seems odd...
