Take it easy on me guys, single mom trying to swap out my transmission since it's gone out on me. I have seen how hard on each other y'all can be..😊
I Was wondering if you guys could tell me what the 4L60E for the 1996 wiring harness is doing on driver side? From what I have researched all other 4L60E seem to have the wiring harness on the passenger side. but during the swap that I am doing right now it just so happens to be on driver side instead! can you tell me why this is? what year made it that way or if this is something that somebody's done alternatively. I'm trying to figure this out. I have a 2wd 1995 that I am installing I place of the 4x4 due to financial reasons. Just need my truck running. The harness for it is in the passenger side. I was told it should bolt right up without the transfer case. But I haven't gotten that far to know that to be true. I just noticed the difference in the wire harness attachment. I didn't want to get it up in there just to find out I had to take it back out. So if anyone can help me identify or how to modify if possible. That would be great
