Hello all! I’m brand new to the forum so forgive me if I’m posting in the wrong spot!

Yesterday afternoon I was towing a utility trailer with a riding lawnmower on it and something happened with the truck, it was shaking violently and service ESC and service parking brake lights came on, I told the dealer about the service parking brake coming on with the check engine light flashing and I was told that means the parking brake shoes are getting worn down (which I think is complete bs). I’d just like to know what could possibly be wrong and how I should handle it with the dealer and be on the look out for. I bought the truck less than two weeks ago, 28,000 miles on it, it’s a 2022 2.7l turbo 8 speed transmission. Thanks!

I did, they didn’t want to come tow it or give me a loaner. I told them they either pay for a tow or I’ll drive the truck to them and blow the motor so they sent a tow truck, they also told me because I’m getting a courtesy tow that I won’t get a loaner so I told them what they meant to say is that they will have a loaner ready for me, I got a loaner. But, I just wasn’t sure if anybody had this happen so I will kind of have an idea with what might be wrong so I can call them out if they try saying nothing is wrong with it.

That's an effort in futility.
Cooler heads must prevail.
Let the events unfold.
Everything they do will be on the service ticket. Dealerships cannot really do anything "under the table," and it will only piss them off saying things like: "the guys on this forum said it could be this or that."
They have a process they follow, or they don't get paid, especially if the warranty is backed by "the mother ship."
