Clear all the codes and turn the key off, then start the truck for a minute. See what codes come back, some of them might have been history codes that are not a problem anymore.

If one of them is a C0265 the module needs to be repaired. Google GM C0265 and you will find lots of info. Once the module is repaired all the other related controller codes will also disappear.

A bad hub won't cause those module codes and definitely not a C0265. That code means the module needs to be opened up and resoldered.

I have repaired dozens of them, 2 in the last two weeks.

Have fun.

Any specific connections to re-solder
Yes, all the cracked ones.

Unless you look under 40X magnification it is hard to see them. The ones to the motor plug and all the relay pins is the most common but you need to look at all the larger pins.

Some of the videos (if you do a search on Google) will show you which ones.

Unbolt the mounting bracket, release the brake lines from the plastic clips and carefully pull the module down till you have room. Nobody said it would be easy.

That loose ground could still be your problem, clean and tighten it first and see. It doesn't show any other grounds on body mounts in my info, but that one looks like a major ground wire.

I discounted a bad ground because it would give you 4X4 errors too, but if yours is a manual TC....
