Adding a 2.5 in lift kit after air bags already installed

Here is the situation I have a 2008 Silverado and I already have airbags on the truck. Now I want to install a 2.5 in level/lift kit on the truck. Will I need to add blocks or shims to fill the gap on the airbags that will be present on the rear when I install the blocks at the rear axles?

Best to get air bag spacers, there are different ones for coil and leaf springs. Check with your air bag manufacturer, see if they have the exact match for the ones you have.
