I recently got one of those bluetooth OBD2 adapters and installed the Torque App on my phone. In messing around with it...I notice there is a "Toggle HUD mode as one of the menu options. I am not too sure how well this sort of thing would work but it got me to thinking about actual aftermarket systems there may be out there. A quick Amazon search and there are a number of them. And also some film to stick on the windshield to help with visibility of the reflection.

So does anyone use a system like this already? I did a search and did not come up with much of anything on this site so I figured I would start a thread.

I would not like to use my phone since it would put it up on the dash and not very accessable for other things...like the google maps I use...unless that can be reversed and used in a heads up manner also. Also, a device left up there would be visible and prone to being stolen.

I never did. All of them that I saw were sort of cheap looking and I just did not want to mess up my dash and then have them not work.
