I am looking to install radio controls in my 08 2500HD LT. To that end I removed the airbag to see what wiring was in the steering wheel. In order to remove the airbag (after taking Negative battery leads off, of course) There is a little white clip to elevate and then pinch the blue tabs on the side in order to pull the connector loose.

I managed to pull the white tab too far and it came off of the connector and flew, I have no idea where.

Does anyone have an old exploded or faulty airbag that they can remove the tab and send it to me. I have had NO help from the local dealers Body Ship in this regard so I am hoping someone on here has what I need.

doubt you can find one at junk yard but i would start looking on craigslist for wrecked ones.

You might be in luck, I just have to find them though, lol. Recently replaced my air bag clock coil spring and it came with new retaining clips.

I found them, but one alignment tab is broke off one of them, the other is good. Do you just need one?
