So I've been having charging issues the last few weeks. Replaced the battery same thing. So I figured alternators bad, changed the alternator to a 160 amp from the original 145 amp. It's charging but won't charge until I Rev the engine up to about 2000rpm and then it stays that way. When I first start it up in the morning I get the service charging system. The message appeared after I changed the alternator.

I wouldn't expect much charging at the very low RPM range.

What I mean is the message and battery light won't go away until then. Plus the volt gauge won't go up until then either.
