I have a 2008 Silverado with power mirrors. In order to put the truck in the garage, I have to get out and manually fold in the mirrors which is a huge pain in the you know what. I've seen the newer model trucks ( a 2010 ) which have the automatic power folding mirrors when the truck is shut off. Would these mirrors work in my 2008 without any additional wiring etc.?

Search DL3 power folding mirrors. There are many options I added relays to mine and switches as my truckwas not wired for it.

Not sure I understand. On my truck I would just open the window and pull the mirror to fold it. Are you referring to the passenger side mirror and that you can't reach it from inside the cab?

Adding power folding mirrors (DL3) will require an additional harness and switch (both sides) along with a BCM reflash.
