I have tried 4 different cameras and really can't find one with good color. I have an alpine 7 head unit. I have been looking for a ccd model but find a lot of CMOS. I rode in a new truck today and had factory set up . Would stock camera work om my head unit . His camera quality was very good. Any other suggestions

Yes a factory camera will work with an aftermarket unit. I have a factory camera (in the tail gate handle) hooked up to my Pioneer unit, just put it in.

Look for a camera from brandmotion they supply the factory cameras. Good luck.
