I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 1500 Classic Z71. So basically a 2006 model with a 2007 title. I recently replaced the front passenger wheel bearing and now the driver side is going out. The front driver side of the truck is grinding, rubbing, and popping, just like the passenger side did when it was going out. But now I am noticing that the truck is having brake issues. Not all of the time but some times when I hit the brakes there is just no braking force there. The ABS is not activating, the pedal just goes almost all the way to the floor before it has any brake pressure (which is minimal at best). Any ideas if it is wheel bearing related? Thanks

Yes, if the wheel/rotor is running at an angle in the worn bearing to the caliper it would be spreading the pads apart while you drive and it would take a few pumps of the pedal to get them back to the rotor.
