Best Oil Additives

Welcome to the forum.

My recco would be to get a Range AFM Delete, or a Diablo Intune device and disable the AFM as soon as you can. The Range just plugs into the OBD2 port, and only does that one purpose, disable AFM. The tuner can do that plus a lot more, but you may not need or want all of that.

To clean the engine, you can run a quart of trans fluid in th crankcase for a week or so, then change the oil. If you really want it clean, fill it with fresh oil and more ATF, or some Seafoam and a new filter. Run that for a few days, then drain and refill with a good filter and a good synthetic.

With the use of a good synthetic, you don't need additives, and some additives can actually inhibit a synthetic oil's ability to work as well as they do.

I use Amsoil in my truck, but it's not as easy to get and costs a bit more, but I'm happy with it.
