I helped my friend fix a leaking hydro boost on his Suburban. Fixed it with this one seal. The toughest part is getting the unit out of the vehicle. PITA up under dash work. Then you need reverse torx sockets to break the unit open and get to that seal. You don’t need to loosen any brake lines. Just unbolt the master and move it forward with the lines still attached. I think I remember also needing crows foot socket wrenches to get the hydraulic lines loose from the hydro boost unit.

It should work fine if you keep the fluid level from getting too low. Usually the first symptom of fluid too low will be growling from the pump when you turn the wheel. Followed by slight binding in the steering when turning the wheel.

That’s how it was with my friends Suburban anyway. It never showed symptoms in the braking, only steering symptoms when fluid got low. His was leaking pretty bad and had been for a while.
