I installed a bull bar on my truck and the parking sensors read it every time I put the truck in gear. I can disable it by hitting the button on the dash, but is there a way to disable it so i do not have to do that every time I get in the truck. Could the 2 center sensors be unplugged?

Maybe a crazy idea, but what if you drilled the bull bar and mounted the middle sensors in it? Might be a cool custom mod.

If you want to disable the parking sensors totally, that is an easy mod.

Did you ever find a solution to your problem?
If so, how and if not read on.

If not I just put the fuzzy side of black Velcro facing the sensor and taped it on with Crome ac duct tape. Seems to be doing the job of completely blinding the sensor and withe the bull bar, unless you know it's there you can barly see the tap. A couple of KC lights in the middle of the bull bar and vertually unseeable.
