I am thinking of dropping a cam kit into my 4.3L engine. As part of my research I'd like members experiences and recommendations. At this time I am looking at a Lunati cam or Comp Cam. Both are advertised as providing better fuel economy, torque, and performance gain.

Just needing to find out if these cams that were meant for the older distributor style engines like yours will work in the newer distributorless engine like mine. Can't find any data on what GM did when it gave the distributor the axe to know whether these will work.
