I left to go out of town for 24 days truck ran great... came home now it won't start.... I cracked the bleed off on the filter housing pumped a few times and got fuel tightened up pumped a few more till it was firm no start still... it's 70-80 degrees and 40-50 at night... any and all ideas to check are appreciated

Is it ok to spray ether in intake so I can narrow it down to just being a fuel issue ... I am new to diesel... this is a 2012 lml 6.6

I would not use starting fluid on any diesel that uses glow plugs. You could try pouring a small amount of diesel fuel down the intake to see if it will fire up.

Do not use starting fluid or anything related! how many times did you turn it over trying to start it after you primed the filter? some times it takes 5-10 trys. As I have had when I replace injectors.
