I know this sounds weird and ya'll think I have too much time on my hands :ROFLMAO: , but has anybody else noticed the huge influx of newbies posting questions ever since the forum update? 🤷‍♂️ Or am I just imagining things...?

There were newbies on the old forum, too, but I don't think this many every day. Not that it's a bad thing to have newbies, just surprising coincidence. Maybe VS is putting the forum up there in search engines or what ever? Or maybe they're just making these phantom accounts just to make the membership activity go up?

Okay..., I'll now take my tinfoil hat off and get back to doing what I really should be doing: work... 😁
I agree.....and some of the questions seem weird, or extremely out of the ordinary....Put your hat back on.

That would be a full bed for the vertically challenged homeless only.
Perhaps the cities of San Fransicko, LA and Austin should buy some. That's about how much they spend on each homeless person annually, anyway...

Well I just bought my first home!
Congrats Monte!!!! That's exciting!!! I remember buying my first home when I was 26 in Kingwood.
Where did you buy? Did you have to win a bidding war?
And BTW.....now the fun really starts....LOL!!!

Side note: Can you get the truck in that 2 door garage, of are you going to have to add a beam or fletch plate and go to a single door?

Getting really frustrated n irritated with the Covid excuse for just about everything

Couldn't get a motorcycle tire mounted today

Cause of Covid I was told I needed to make appointment...You serious for a tire swap
And that's with me bringing in the wheel n new tire..... And they jacked up the price to $50 .. Guess businesses don't wanna make money anymore....$50 for like 15mins of work

And than every other shop closed early
Covid....

And than the worst one..

The Harley dealer said ok will do it
But ask what kind of motorcycle
As soon as I said Yamaha..

He said the only work on Harleys

Where do you live? With the covid crazies?
Surely not a free state like Texas or Florida!
I have no trouble getting anything done these days. No masks required....That being said, some supplies are a problem, however.
There's a privately owned tire place a block behind my wife's store. Been in business over 40 years. Will change a tire or tube on anything from a wheel barrow to a huge tractor. Most you'll ever wait is an hour.

Laugh of the day....Don't think I ever posted this before. Sign that hangs outside the service department of the dealership I use, when I cannot or don't want to do it myself.
God Bless Texas!!!

Yep, those Longhorns had their horns cut off in the end. We were at Margaritaville casino/resort in Bossier City La., I had too many bloody marys to give a hoot that they lost.
And the Aggies beat Alabama. 'Gig Em!!!

Truck related not much, may detail/steam clean interior if it isnt raining.

House related nursery stuff, painting painting and more painting. Maybe a rotating shoe rack to get rid of some of the lumber left over from another project.
Bradley, didn't know you had a shoe fetish...

Balcones just released this and since my local liquor store happened to get one in yesterday, of course I had to grab it.

The distillery is right down the street from my store....might have to go get one....
There's a long, nasty story about Balcones. I know the original founder very well. He's moved on to Texas Brandy now...
I'm a fan of Balcones Rumble mixed with sweet iced tea.

You changing the look or just buy them for the tires? haha
I have maybe 6000 left on the tires I have on the truck now. (They're at 52K.) I think I'm going to put the tires and wheels on, Monte, when I do my Powerstops (OEM brakes still on,)....probably over the Christmas break, as were closing our Store from the 23rd to the 4th, and I'll have time. That being said, my wife has a long list, and a sh*tload of trash trees she wants cut down.

What do you think of them? The wheels are not all that much different, but I'm going from a 275-55-R20 to a 275-60-R20.

Man this used car market is wild

I just sold a rusty af 1990 s10 blazer with over 300k on it for my dad to a guy for $1000. As is, where is... without even starting it when we shook on it. Push, pull, drive it away type situation.

Hasn't been run in 2+ years. But that said- also has never failed to start when the battery was still alive

He was cheesin when I accepted his offer & will be back in a couple days with a battery to pick it up.

I was cheesin walking back in the house knowing we only paid $1500 for it 20ish years ago and drove the wheels off it.

Craziness. But if he's happy.... lol

I think the "everything with wheels" market is crazy right now. .
Friday I sold my 16' custom cargo trailer for $3500 that I bought new in 1999 for $4500. I also used the crap out of it for 22 years. I have another cargo trailer; just didn't need one that big anymore.
