Welp it didnt go as planned...
The kit consists of 4 aluminum spacers, some bolts and some nylock nuts. The drivers side was fine, spacers went inbetween the diff housing and then the supplied bolts go in which are slightly longer than stock.
Passenger side however is another story. Literally there is 1/4" of thread engagement due to the spacers. It is not possible to use the old nuts either as they are very thick. Its also not possible to use washers as the holes for the diff bracket itself are oblonged for adjustment (I guess), and the thread engagement would be even worse, and the nuts just to me didnt seem like they would hold well because the overall diameter is too small vs the holes in the diff bracket. I tried some other nuts I had but they wouldnt work either, the nuts for the diff on the pass side use captured washers and are literally 3/4-1" thick.
I went so far as to remove the bracket for the diff that attaches to the frame and pound out the stock splined bolts (almost like wheel studs). But the hole is to large in diameter to use some grade 10 bolts I had-I was afraid due to the torque of the truck the bolts would move
Another thing I ran into, is due to my bilsteins and 1/4" lower spacer the cv axle was AWFULLY close to the lower strut bolt that attaches to the control arm. It was already close, but seemed pushing it once the kit was on. I suppose if I was to reverse them so the bolt head was on top it might be better idk.
The only other idea I had was perhaps the diff brackets themself that attach to the frame was where the spacers should go. But I doubt it b/c I only got 4 bolts and 2 nuts and they were not long enough by a mile.
This is the kit I ordered as I couldnt find literally anything else
http://supremesuspensions.com/product/2 ... p-kit-4wd/ I even called the company as they had a tech line, left a message but got zilch. That was around 1pm..
so yea, spent like 4 hours F'N with it and just put it back to stock. the only reason I wanted to do the diff drop was to help slightly with the handling (heard the diff drops hell take away that looseness feeling) , I also heard a diff drop also helps with with slight vibrations.
