Does my 2011 GMC have CANBUS?

Before I buy lighting, does my 2011 GMC 1500 have CANBUS?

If yes, then I will need error code cancellers, correct?

Yes to CANBUS and most inexpensive code readers will clear CELs and allow you to clear stored codes.
