Well... the code still comes back. The code comes up after I fuel the truck. I'll reset the code after fueling and it stays off until the next fill up. I bought a new gas cap a month or so ago, but that obviously isn't the fix. I need to get my truck inspected, as it ran out last month and of course I get stopped in a road block and get a ticket! I'm not sure if it will pass with this code. I live in upstate NY, so we don't do the full emmissions thing. Any more thoughts??? :?

My old 2000 would report 0442 codes all the time I would clear the code and it just continue on. The problem is somewhere in the evap system and it doesn't affect the operation of the engine or emissions. I would fill it with gas clear the alarm and go have the vehicle tested.
