Ok guys just looking at this factory air box on my 2013 Sierra 2500HD 6.0 vortex... I have a drop in filter right now.. How well do these motors benefit from a cold air intake?? This factory box looks like it doesn't flow that great with all these extra compartments....

I'm going to make my own out of 4 or 5" exhaust piping I think.. taking it off tommarow to see how I can mount the MAF SENSOR

The one pictured is for an s10.. I don't know if they have a tube for our trucks? Pretty sure they do

If I have a good enough demand, I will make a bunch of the ones I pictured above! I am going to make one tommarow, and paint it.. I will post pictures. Seems like a lot of guys want just the tube!

That's correct.Dyno sheets have proved the stock air box flows good, I'm just going to replace the tube and drop in a k&N filter in the stock box...

It will fit. Same size openings on both ends.. this is the exact one my buddy ordered for his 2011 and it fit like a glove.. I'll take pictures when he stops over Friday

How do you like the lews tune on your 6.0? I want to do that next.. and yes the air raid tube fits our engines.
