OK so after my whole rack and pinon replacement i still have this reverse back up noise. It turns out that the bolt in the caliper bracket was gone. But the rack and pinon needed to be replaced because there was fluid in the boots and tie-rods had 242,000 miles on it.
My question is can i go to the hardware store and get this bolt? Because i can not find the part number NO WHERE, All i can find is the rear brake bolt. I come across this Raybestos H5074 but not sure if it will fit.
My truck is a 2002 Silverado ext cab 5.3. Thanks in advance. The bolt is close to the brake line

The closest one to me will cost me 20.00 in gas and 1.00 to get in lol. ill look at a hardware store for a grade 8 bolt. if not i will give a junkyard a call and pay the shipping lol

It may not be a Grade 8, but metric instead. Will try to find a part number for you. Not sure of your model so:

went to pullapart was around the city. So it cost me 2.00 and about 1 hr of looking at 20+ Silver ado Tahoe suburban and Serra till i found one that still had a bolt.....
