I'm considering adding a lift to my 2011 GMC Sierra 1500 6.2L 4wd Crew Cab. It currently has a 2.5" Top Gun Customz leveling kit, Rough Country 1.25" body lift, Bilsteins, and 33" Toyo MT. I know the leveling kit will need to be removed but I was thinking of leaving the body lift. I would prefer to remove the body lift but I don't know if I want to take the time to do it. I guess it will depend how everything will turn out because I want to do it right.
After doing some research, I think I want to run 35" Toyo MT and 20" wheels with a -44 offset, unless there is something wrong with this combination. In order to run this; I believe that could go with a FTS 7" lift with the adjustable 7-9 Bilsteins in the front, set at 9. I've read several recommendations for rear shocks including Bilsteins, Bilstein with res, and Fox 2.0.
I prefer the truck to sit level but wouldn't be opposed to a slight rake or very slight cali. Also, I don't mind trimming but I would prefer not to really hack into things. Maybe small NORCAL.
Will my proposed setup work, look good, and be reliable?
Any idea what kind of pricing am I looking at?
What front struts do you recommend and what setting and part number?
What rear shocks do you recommend and what part number?
I heard stacking rear blocks is not recommended and possibly dangerous. What is recommended to get the rear to sit level with the front with the Bilsteins set at 9? Add a leaf?
Should I take off the body lift?
How will the ride compare to stock?
Anything else that I missed?
