Ok cant get a straight answer..
Should the truck lose fuel pressure once it sits for the night?

Last night turned truck off with 49 psi on guage..morning had no psi..it is cold enough for snow to stay..

Truck has new lines filter and pump as of 2 months ago and nee fuel regulator last summer..

Trying to pinpoint this occasional long cranking hot or cold.

Also looking at the part i bought off rockauto.. The ac delco comes with a snap ring.. I dont recal using it.. Did i miss a step?

No, truck should hold pressure. If you didnt use a delphi or delco pump, that could be the issue. There may be a leak at a fitting, allowing the pressure to drop as well. Or there could be an injector leaking down dumping the fuel into the cylinder.

It should hold pressure. Could be injectors. Does it build back if you turn the switch on? Still hard to start with pressure back?

Its odd starts fine with either 0 psi or anything above 50.. Anywhere inbetween it has a hard time.. Atleast from the 2 times ive been watching so far..

It should hold pressure for a good amount of time, but they all lose some pressure when they are turned off for a long time.

Ok this morning truck sat for about 4 hours had 0 psi and a touch of a hard start..assuming thr gas was just to say evaporated

Losing all fuel pressure in 4 hours is indicative of a bad check valve in the pump, a leaky injector, or a leak in lines somewhere. The system should hold fuel pressure for 12 hours minimum...
