Hey guys,

I have a 2016 GMC Sierra, "LIGHT STEEL GRAY METALLIC"

from the research I have done, the touch up paint code is G1C WA402Y. I applied a minor amount on the hood @ 2 small chips before installing my hood protector.
I noticed the paint in the bottle is alittle darker than my truck and after it dried, its probably a couple shades too dark.

Do I have the correct code / touch up paint ?

I have 2 small nicks I need to fix on the bed near the tail light and I am not going to use what I have

I bought paint from automotivetouchup.com and I have an unusual color. They matched it perfectly. Might wanna try them.

Did you contact them or did you just go through their drop down menus and go off of the paint code ?

I just matched my paint code to the one on their website and ordered it.
