The towing package just is that, a towing package. Does not make your truck any more heavy duty. The HD designation, which nowadays means nothing really since all trucks are HD, actually did mean you got a heavier truck that could tow heavier, bigger frame, different suspension, bigger engine and stronger trans.

No such thing as a 1500HD or an 8 lug 1500. The 8 lug trucks are 2500HD. There is the HD trailer package available on the 1500 but that should not be confused with a true HD truck.

I plan on stabbing you in real life if you ever spout nonsense like that on a Rockrz thread again.
