i have a 2004 silverado and i have replaced the electronic dual control and the actuater and i cant get it to blend the windshield and floor at the same time ?

yes on both the control and the actuator !still nolend !

i have did the manual reset and i took it to the shop and they did a scanner reset and still nothing ! and i used ac delco parts !

Is it just that one mode (splitting air between floor and windshield, and otherwise the air is directed properly?

yes every position work except splitting between floor and windshield ! i just cant figure it out thanks ! every thing is new !

I also have an '04, just w manual controls, but your ducting setup should be the same.

With a flashlight (and maybe removing the duct section pointing down at the drivers legs), at the mode actuator & cam to see how it moves as the mode's are switched. If def works, and floor works, 1/2 def/1/2 floor is between those two points on the cam (so for def, the cam is turned to it's limit in one direction, floor is in the middle, for split the cam is between those two points).

I feel your pain. Im in the same boat after $1500 worth of HVAC rehab with new GM parts. I had to pull the acutators and set them by hand to keep from freezing when I use it.

Do you hear air blowing when on defrost and floor? Is it still coming out of the front vents or what? Some additional details will help. Have you watched the cam movement mentioned by Dave above? Are you sure you got it correctly re-connected? That cam can be tricky to get back in the proper detents to drive the doors.
