Recently purchased (April '22) a new to me 2002 GMC Sierra 1500 Extended Cab WB/Stepside. It has the 4.8L V8 and the HD towing package. Paid $5995 + tax (8%). Mileage is 119,580. They allowed me to take it home and drive it for a couple days. Anything went wrong to call them. Well, returned the truck and they had it for almost 2 weeks. Needed a new rear end (I didn't pay a dime). Now its smooth as glass. Did a ton of research on this truck from being manufacturered in Oshawa, CA to spending most of its life in Florida, until about 2017/2018. No power windows or doors. Reminds me of 1985 Dodge Aries.
Got bored and tore the interior apart. Found sand on the passenger side with some water in the sound proofing. Tested for leaks, none found. Took 2 days to dry it all out. Put it back together (those rear bench seats are a pain) and am enjoying the heck out of it.

Nice truck never Ben huge on step side 🤷‍♂️💩

They're growing on me. I was looking for truck that can tow at least 8k. Not many options unless you want one with 200k for $15-$20k around here. Got lucky with the HD towing package on it.
