Broke the plastic lever for my hood release off yesterday in the cold. Need the part number for the release on a 2012 Sierra 1500 SLE Extended cab.

Doesnt look like you can get the handle alone from what I have found.

When I looked at that part number, it said it was for the 1999-2007 model. Will this fit on a 2012 or are they different parts?

If you Google this part number you can find it cheaper online.
