I have recently purchased the 2015 style tow mirrors for my 02 Silverado. I wired them in so they work with the running lights, and so the reverse lights on the mirrors turn on when I shift into reverse.
I was just wondering how to hook up the heat on the mirrors as well, I am comfortable adding a switch and wiring it in, but I am unsure what wire runs the heat to the mirrors.
My truck does NOT have rear defrost, I am aware that it would run right of that button, but since I don't have it, I was planning on adding a toggle switch.
Also, if there is a way to make it so the amber lights on the front of the mirrors work as running lights, and signals, it would be awesome if it was added in the comments. Thanks guys!
