It could be a module, but the safest way is to actually check the wiring and make sure it is not shorted to ground. It could be any component on that circuit as well.

 

Ya the problum is dont know what is on that line the wireing diagram shows it going to the BCM and thats it.

 

In that case, check the wiring harness to make sure it is not damaged. If the only thing on the circuit is the module, and the wires are not damaged, it's a safe bet it's the module itself.

 

OK il look at it, is there wireing from bcm to the dash lights

The diagram that i have shows the wire from the fuse block going to the BCM and thats it.

 

Does it not have any wires coming from the BCM and going to other components? If it does, then it could be a component that is attached to the BCM.

 

That part of the wireing diagram i dont have i dont know. do you know were the bcm is located.

 

No, I do not. My guess would be under the dash somewhere. You should get a complete wiring diagram to make it easy and save money.
