Also; is it important to exchange Summer air for Winter air in the tires???? :?
Dumb question.. of course it is important!
If you drive with Summer air in there in the winter it could cause the tire to split the belts inside due to warm Summer air inside against the colder Winter air outside.
Winter air in the Summer isn't as bad but still it should be changed out just as good habit.

Don't forget to rotate the air in your tires every 5k miles.

Once the air becomes accustomed to one tire, it starts to lose interest and mileage suffers.

45psi in my 285/70/17 LT tires. I tried to run 40 but felt they didnt have enough stability and 50 psi made them a bit rough riding. Course I do have bilstein shocks too.
I would think so! My 2015 2500HD, I typically run about 50 psi in the tires all the way around unless I am going to be loading it up. On a half ton, that would be like riding on a brick.

You guys running 30-40psi in your LT tires are killing your gas mileage
Probably not as great a loss as one might think. And running 50 psi in a these on a half ton, one can argue effectively that one is beating up bushings and other parts of the suspension, unless loaded down significantly. I run 50 psi in my E KO2's on my 2500. Which some would argue is too low for the same reason you mentioned. But i have typically gotten a couple of miles per gallon better than the average for that pickup others have posted.

Driving style actually accounts for up to 33% of any fuel economy change. Lot's of fleet studies have proven that. Far more than tire pressure will ever affect.
